The Executive Director (ExD) reports to the Board of Directors, with a Board appointed designee to serve as

primary contact. The ExD is responsible for the organization’s consistent achievement of its mission and

financial objectives. The ExD is responsible for implementing the organization’s strategic goals; overseeing

the organization’s financial management; advancing fund development; leading, sustaining and

administering fundraising and grant activities; developing and administering program activities; coordinating

volunteers and committees; supervising daily operations at the Artisan Co-op Gallery; serving as an AAV

representative to the general public; and promoting the AAV and its mission. The ExD should possess a

passion for the arts and the ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships that enhance the

financial, artistic, and educational goals of AAV.
