Chef Kaytie Bowman
Chef Kaytie, formerly the GM and Head Chef of Michigan Brew, is a classically trained chef who has 17+ years in the industry. She studied at the Great Lakes Culinary Institute locally here in Traverse City Michigan, and the Paul Bocuse Institut in Albi France. She fell in love with food at a young age, running a camp kitchen at 16, and will tell you that most of the experience she has amassed comes from the many amazing chefs she has worked with and for and the trial and error of working in professional kitchens all her life. With a deep belief in the farm-to-table philosophy, Chef Kaytie emphasizes the use of all-natural ingredients in her cuisine. She is committed to sourcing local produce whenever possible, ensuring that her dishes capture the essence of fresh and local flavors. Her menus are thoughtfully crafted to highlight the seasonal bounty, bringing a vibrant and authentic dining experience to every meal she prepares. Chef Kaytie’s dedication to sustainable and natural ingredients reflects her passion for creating food that not only delights the palate but also supports the community and the environment.
