New to Medicare Presentation – Wednesday, October 16^th at 11am – Are you turning age 65 in 2024? Are you confused by Medicare? How does Medicare work and what does it cover? Join us in person for a presentation that will help demystify the issues surrounding Medicare. Board member and Michigan Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program volunteer, Sandy Woods, will discuss the various parts of Medicare including what is covered or not covered, Medicare Supplements and Prescription Drug Plans, and how Medicare recipients who have low income can get assistance paying for Prescription Drug Plans and the Medicare Part B premium. After, join us for lunch in our new dining hall Chicken Stir Fry, Brown Rice, Sugar Snap Peas, Apricots. The recommended donation for those over 60 is $4.00, under age 60 is an $8.00 fee.
