If you couldn't attend the intro session, you are welcome to attend this class to get your card.  The instructor will go over the safety procedures at the beginning of the class..

As an entry point class, this three week series will feature three two hour sessions exploring clay.  Registrants will learn basics of handling stoneware clay and come to understand the properties and nuances of pottery clay. Techniques will start with handbuilding and progress to a beginner session on the potter's wheel.

Please join experienced clay artist Carole Meier as she discusses terms and definitions and then guides registrants through creating various pieces and assembling them into a unique piece.

This class will improve any future adventure you may want to take into the world of making decorative and functional pottery.

All clay, tools, supplies and materials will be supplied.
