Truestream Fiber Internet Informational Event Planned for December 3

Boyne City, MI - Great Lakes Energy and Truestream will host a fiber internet informational session on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at the Kirtland Community College Events Center in Grayling from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. The event is free and open to Great Lakes Energy electric members who are eligible for Truestream, the cooperative’s new fiber internet and voice network. Truestream is currently available to Great Lakes Energy members in parts of Allegan, Antrim, Barry, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Crawford, Emmet, Kent, Mecosta, Montcalm, Montmorency, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana, Oscoda, and Otsego counties.

Attendees can stop in at any time during the event to speak with a Truestream solutions representative or technician to discuss:

• Construction and service plans
• Equipment tech talk – modems, routers, Wi-Fi mesh, backup batteries, and more
• Setting up an online account and downloading the GLE mobile app
• Registering for Truestream and specific questions about your account
• How fiber internet works
• TV and streaming demonstration at 5:30 p.m.
