Position Requirements

-Must be a self starter

-Unrestricted driver’s license

-Ability to drive truck and trailers

-Reliable transportation to and from work

-Ability to lift 50+ pounds

-Ability to work in inclement weather conditions when required

-Ability to perform labor intensive tasks

-Ability to work 8-10 hour days, some evenings and overtime

-Ability to work in a team environment

-Ability to follow directions

-2 years experience minimum with leading and training landscaping and hardscaping crews

-2 years experience with installing pavers, flagstone, retaining walls, new lawns and planting beds

-2 years experience with excavators, skid steers, tractors, loaders, and other industry specific equipment.

-Must be a self starter

-Willingness to learn new skills

Preferred Skills/Experience

-Experience in commercial snow removal and ice management

-Experience managing other employees on a daily basis

-MDOT physical card

-CDL

-Experience troubleshooting/repairing mechanical issues with equipment

Primary Responsibilities

-Ensure all work meets A+’s quality standards

-Installing patios, retaining walls, new lawns, sod and plants.

-Ensure work trucks and equipment stay clean and organized

-Perform operator level maintenance on equipment used

-Comply with all policies and safety protocols

-Train and mentor employees under your supervision

-Inspect quality of work performed by your crew

-Snow removal in the winter.

-Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
